Celebration Fanfare

This piece was composed on behalf of the Shinjuku Bunka Center in honor of the 30th anniversary of the opening of this cultural and concert center in Tokyo. Celebration Fanfare is an impressive work with a brilliant, radiant fanfare and a church organ whose solemn sound echoes through the concert hall. The first performance was given by Hiroko Takahashi, the house organist of the Centre, together with the Shinjuku City Wind Orchestra under the direction of Shigeto Ishizu. This piece is perfect as an opening piece, which could be followed by an organ solo and then possibly a march.
