My Way

This enormously popular hit was originally a French chanson but Paul Anka added an English text and Frank Sinatra stormed into the American charts in 1969 with his world-famous interpretation. Since then My Way has been sung by many known and unknown artists, including Elvis Presley. Elvis’ version served as the basis for this arrangement by Thijs Oud who has reproduced the atmosphere of an Elvis concert in the closing section with the well-known refrain turning into a swinging blues.
