Hello! Mr. Sax or Parameters of the Saxophone

Hello! Mr. Sax seeks to serve saxophonists in their progress on the instrument by addressing, in detail, pitch, timbre, duration, articulation, volume and attacks. These aspects are not merely discussed in their basic form, for elements such as quarter tones, aeolian sounds and different types of sounds which can be produced on the instrument are also explored, among others. The composer, saxophonist Jean-Marie Londeix (b. 1932) studied at the Paris Conservatoire before embarking on a successful concert career taking him all over the world. His position as president of the International Committee of Saxophone and the fact that many composers have written Saxophone worksspecially for him have cemented Londeix 's professionalism and expertise. With this in mind, Hello! Mr. Sax is compiled with much experience and is essential to accompany all Saxophone studies, from beginner to advanced level.
