Musicians onstage stand in the limelight and enjoy their fame whereas after performance they become shrouded in a strange fog of isolation.Light is associated with ascent and descent: it can lead into brightness, but equally into darkness. Light can illuminate and yet be dazzling; fog stands for insecurity, uncertainty and anxiety ... but also for mysticism and wafting dreams.
