Lips, your lips (The Lips Cycle No.1)

"Lips, your lips," based on texts by the composer, exploit vocal sounds produced inside the mouth to the exclusion of traditional singing. It is an authentic sound theater where the characters are the character traits of themezzo-soprano on stage and its duplication projected by the speakers. The principal subject of the text of this first piece of "The Lips Cycle" is telling and listening, transmission and reception, the production of meaningthrough words and by the voice that pronounces and sings them.
