Ungarische Rhapsodie op.56,10

Two melodies are interwoven in the “Hungarian Rhapsody”: the “Song of St. Stephen” and the “Song of the Patron of Hungary”. From a free improvisation, the composition was created. The melodies sound simultaneously and are led into a hymnic finale. The tempo should be adapted to the room acoustics. The noted tempo indications are to be implemented here moderately. The full development of the magnificent sound effect can be designed differently for each instrument depending on the organ register facility.
