The Herakles Challenge

12 piano pieces based on Greek Mythology : "Zeus the Thunderer", "Sisyphos", "Andromache's Farewell", "Poseidon storms at Odysseus" and others; each introducing a technique such as ascending two-handed arpeggios, tremolo, sixths, playing in canon, etc. which is explained and practised with the piano student in a "task" beforehand. All explanations and helpful hints are given by Euterpe, the Muse of Music herself! Complete with pictures of the 12 Labours of Herakles which can be pasted on the "task" page when it has been mastered!
