Volume 2 requires good note-reading, a distinct sense of rhythm and basic knowledge of music theory. Also in pedal playing, basic techniques – which were taught in volume 1 – will be further deepened.

Through attractive lecture pieces and interesting exercises, further technical skills, suggestions for improvisation and music theoretical knowledge are now taught. Mixed articulation techniques, cultivated legato playing and an introduction to ornamentation will be developed.

Ulrike Wegele's proven principle of combining literature examples from eight centuries of organ music and appealing exercises will be continued and has meanwhile matured several generations of students into outstanding organists.
