Memories of young love amidst the wild mountain thyme and blooming heather in Go, Lassie Go have made this song a traditional favourite at ceilis all over Scotland, Ireland and Canada. This arrangement by Mark Sirett is dedicated to his daughter Heather Ellen, who sang in the Cantabile Choirs that premiered this arrangement in May 2001, in Kingston, Ontario, Canada.
